International fair
ST JAMES’ Annual International Fair is just a few weeks away.
Stalls will feature food from around the world, carpets, plants, raffles, toys, books, white elephant, cakes, knitwear and more.
There will also be a farmyard where kids can cuddle the animals, and a Samoan singing group.

CWA talents on show
DANDENONG and Noble Park Country Women’s Association members will display their talents in the West Gippsland Group Creative Arts and Crafts Exhibition.
There will be stalls and light refreshments available.
– Pakenham Library Hall, corner John and Henry streets, Pakenham. 10am to 5pm Friday 18 October and 10am to 3.30pm Saturday 19 October.
Courses for all abilities
KEYSBOROUGH Learning Centre has affordable courses to suit all abilities.
It’s running Intel Easy Steps Multimedia (digital camera, video and PowerPoint) Mondays from 12.30pm to 3.30pm and Intel East Steps for Beginners on Mondays from 12.30pm to 4pm or Thursdays, 6pm to 8.30pm.
At the Office (Level 2) is scheduled for 1pm to 4pm Tuesdays and Painting and Sketching is on 9am to 11.30am Wednesdays.
Safe Food Handling Level 1 will run on 22 October and 7 December.
First aid courses available include CPR, emergency anaphylaxis management and emergency asthma management.

Youth crime forum
A FREE forum in Dandenong will tackle youth crime rates in the municipality and neighbouring Casey and Cardinia.
It will inform and support parents, families and carers of offenders and at risk of becoming entangled in the youth justice system.
Speakers will include Dandenong Magistrate Lesley Fleming and staff from the Department of Human Services Youth Justice Division, Victoria Police and community service agencies.
