Police recover Mercedes missing after ‘test drive’

A MAN who allegedly stole a $120,000 Mercedes coupe while taking it for a test drive in Dandenong has been charged with theft and traffic offences.
The Dandenong Crime Investigation Unit charged a 21-year-old Yarraville man on Monday 18 January in relation to the incident on Friday 15.
He was arrested at a residential address in Tullamarine and the Mercedes was recovered.
The man was to face the Broadmeadows Magistrates’ Court on Monday 18 January.
