POLICE are seeking witnesses after a man was stabbed with what is believed to be a screwdriver in Dandenong on Monday night.
The 26-year-old man was dropping a colleague at a residential address in Hemmings Street after work about 11.40pm when he was attacked by at least three offenders.
Police said one of the attackers stabbed the man with what is believed to be a screwdriver, leaving him with serious wounds.
The three then grabbed a bag which contained the man’s wallet. They also stole cash from the man’s pockets.
The offenders are described as being aged in their 20s.
One was a Caucasian man wearing a coloured, horizontally striped T-shirt and jeans, the second was wearing a white singlet and the third was a woman wearing a black top and jeans.
The man was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
