GREATER Dandenong’s religious networking body has released an up-to-date historical account of its work over the past 17 years.
The Interfaith Network this week launched The Journey Continues, the story of its time spent promoting harmonious relationships between the diverse number of religions found in Greater Dandenong.
Interfaith Network president Helen Heath said the history had not been updated since 1991.
“This is the continuation of our history, because the network is the first in Victoria and Australia it is important we document our progress,” she said.
Greater Dandenong mayor Peter Brown said the book was testament to the amount of work and integral role provided by Interfaith to the Greater Dandenong community.
