POLICE are investigating a burglary at a small convenience store in Dandenong.
The store, called Supreme Enterprises, on Lonsdale Street was broken into between 8pm on 3 October and 6am on 4 October.
Police said a window was smashed to gain entry and a large amount of cigarettes were stolen.
Police are appealing for anyone with information about the burglary or who may have been offered cheap cigarettes to contact Senior Constable Peita Caller at Dandenong CIU on 9767 7478.
POLICE are looking for a man who produced a knife after breaking into a Dandenong home and threatened the owner.
The owner was threatened when he returned to his Close Avenue home from work about 2am on 7 October.
Police said that when the man came house, he saw the offender and there was a scuffle. The offender produced a knife before fleeing on foot towards Weller Street.
The offender is aged about 18, of Caucasian appearance, and was wearing a beige hooded windcheater and blue jeans.

A FIGHT in Dandenong last week left a student in hospital with serious injuries.
Police said a group of 15 to 20 men were seen outside the CyberNet Café on Walker Street, Dandenong, on 9 October in the early afternoon. Police said the group of 15 to 20yearolds attacked an 18yearold Dandenong student with sticks before running away. The student was taken to hospital by ambulance and received cuts to his head and legs and bruising all over his body.
