In addition to the most valuable player award, co-captain Ryan also took home the coach’s award.
Steely defender Emily McInerny picked up defensive player of the year and Jenna O’Hea and Natasha Main shared the most improved player award.
Team manager Cheryl Andrews received the Janine Fielder award.
Ryan said she was surprised, but honoured to be named Dandenong’s most valuable player.
“I win this award with my fantastic teammates,” she said.
Ryan said that the start of the season was not ideal, but the Rangers were really looking forward to taking their late season form into 2007/08.
McInerny echoed Ryan’s focus on next season.
“With such a solid group of girls and a fresh start next season, I’m looking forward to bigger and better things from the Rangers,” she said.
