Awards breakfast

BUSINESSMEN and women from around the region made their way to the Chifley Doveton last Wednesday morning to welcome three nominees to the Regional Business Awards.
As guests shared breakfast and made important business contacts Fantech Pty Ltd, Wolter Steel Company and Allen Garb The Good Guys were showcased and inducted as nominees.
Guests were then treated to an inspirational speech from Rachael Robertson, the first woman to lead an exhibition to Antarctica.
Ms Robertson, who went to St John’s Regional College in Dandenong, said while she had not really planned on going ahead with the mission, it taught her important people managing skills.
