SCAAB executive director Anna Hall said she was pleased about the move. “We’re excited about the new site and the opportunities it offers for young people accessing Youth Link,” she said.
Youth Links youth services manager Denise Goldfinch agreed.
“There is much more space for young people to come in, and our services keep growing,” she said.
The official launch of the new site was a celebration with free food, entertainment and activities for the whole community.
There was also a concert with musical performances, fashion parade, multicultural performances at the Paddy O’Donoghue Centre later that evening.
Youth links services include housing assistance, financial counselling, counselling, emergency relief advocacy, education, training, employment and social inclusion programs.
