KEYSBOROUGH booked its ticket to the Casey Cardinia B-Grade netball semi-finals following a nail-biting three-goal win over Berwick.
Trailing at half-time 17-19, the Burra stormed out of the blocks in the second half to push ahead a four-goal lead as goalers Chloe Plumb and Laura Agius had the ball on a string.
Their 13-goal third-term proved the difference as Berwick could not fight back to bridge the gap. Keysborough has earned a shot at ladder-leading Narre Warren next week to decide the first grand finalist in Casey Cardinia B-Grade netball.
Keysborough’s B-Grade netball team is the only remaining Burras’ team in the league, with the football teams and the C-Grade women both knocked out last week at the end of the home and away season.
The Burras’ netball teams will join the Southern Football League netball competitions in 2015 following the club’s move from Casey Cardinia.
