Police stall drag racing duo

Two probationary drivers will be back to square one after allegedly drag racing in Clayton.
Glen Waverley police allegedly detected two vehicles travelling along Princes Highway at 159 kilometres an hour about 1.30am on Saturday 20 January.
Officers intercepted the Ford and Mazda and discovered P2 probationary drivers behind the steering wheels.
They impounded both cars at a cost of $878.50, and one of the drivers will have to explain to his dad why his car will be gone for a month.
A 19-year-old Noble Park man is expected to be charged on summons with offences including speeding, highway racing and driving a prohibited/high power vehicle.
A 21-year-old Hampton Park man is expected to be charged on summons with offences including speeding and highway racing.
