Broken nose for attacked 70yo

 A thug punched a 70-year-old woman in the face and broke her nose in an unprovoked attack in central Dandenong.
Greater Dandenong CIU Detective Senior Constable Tony Lavars said the assault occurred about 1.30pm on Sunday 4 March.
The victim was walking walking along Clow Street, near Stuart Street, when a woman of African appearance aged in her late teens to early twenties approached.
Det Sen Const Lavars said she punched the victim in the face without provocation or explanation.
She said she made no demands and didn’t steal anything.
The attacker then left the scene on foot, travelling along Clow Street towards Princes Highway.
A passerby stopped to render assistance and took the victim to hospital.
Det Sen Const Lavars urged any witnesses to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
