Hot, spicy meals were on offer at the Curry Festival.

More than 28,000 savoured the flavours at Dandenong Market’s inaugural Curry Festival on 2 September.

The festival featured live music, dance and authentic curries from India, Japan, Thailand, Mauritius and Sri Lanka.

One of the highlights was a Sri-Lankan curry cooking demonstration by singing chef Don Sherman.
