Two on drug charges after raid

POLICE seized heroin, amphetamine and $4000 in cash from a room at the Waltzing Matilda Hotel in Springvale on 28 June.
Greater Dandenong CIU Acting Detective Sergeant Luke Kirton said officers were responding to an unrelated incident that led them to conduct a welfare check on the room about 4am.
There they found drugs and drug paraphernalia, including about 70 grams of amphetamine, 15 grams of heroin and $4000 cash.
Robert Vo, 19, from Springvale South, and Anh Tran, 21, from Dandenong North, have been remanded to appear in Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on 5 July on charges of trafficking amphetamine and heroin.
Stella Nguyen, 18, from Burwood East, was bailed and Act Sgt Kirton said police would issue a 21-year-old Dandenong North man with a summons.
