Aggressive with bat

A MAN armed with a baseball bat is alleged to have forced his way into a home in Grace Street, Springvale, at about 4.20pm on Friday 23 August.
Police said he shouted and screamed threats from the front door at one of the two men – aged 29 and 47 – home at the time.
When the occupant retreated inside and locked the door the intruder jumped a side fence into the rear yard and damaged a door and wall with the bat before entering the home via a back door and hitting an internal wall.
The intruder fled before police arrived.
