School rewards
PARKMORE Shopping Centre’s community program School Rewards is back and there’s a share in $11,000 cash on offer for three primary schools.
Until 5pm on Sunday 27 October, customers can allocate every dollar they spend as points towards one of 12 participating schools.
Participating customers could also win daily prizes including gift cards, cosmetics, makeover vouchers, accessories and coffees.

Holiday action
SPRINGTACULAR is an action-packed school holiday program for Greater Dandenong residents aged 12 to 25 years.
Activities are free or at a reduced cost and include a survivor sports challenge, self-defence class, baking challenge, a trip to Luna Park and more.
They start with a breaking championship and rap battle at The Castle, Dandenong, on Saturday 21 September.

Whodunit comedy
THE 39 Steps is a play based on a classic Hitchcock ‘whodunit’ film and is a comedy for all the family.
In 100 minutes audiences will encounter more than 100 characters played by just four actors as international spies chase a handsome hero.
The cast has appeared in popular Australian TV and stage shows.

Art and language
ENGLISH as a Second Language is the first collaboration between Melbourne artists Sanja Pahoki and Ka-Yin Kwok.
The exhibition includes videos, photographs and text showing everyday life and is centred on language and its intended and unintended effects through mistranslation and pronunciation.

Children’s Festival
THE annual Children’s Festival will keep more than 8000 children in Greater Dandenong entertained this school holidays.
There’ll be more than 40 events including performances, workshops, activities and exhibitions.
Little Day Out – for BIG imaginations is the festival’s headline event and will be held at Ross Reserve, Noble Park, on Sunday 29 September from 11am to 4pm.
