BILBUNGRA Kindergarten in Keysborough celebrated its 40th birthday this month.
Lyndhurst MP Martin Pakula was among the guests at the party on Saturday 13 September, which included cake, games and afternoon tea.
Teacher Rebecca Angus said the kinder had been on the same Filer Road site for its four decades.
“We were happy to see past and present families as well as staff,” she said.
“We celebrated with egg and spoon races, balloon races and even some of the grown-ups joined in that fun.
“We also had a birthday cake donated by one of the families.”
Photos from previous anniversary celebrations were on display.
“We enjoyed seeing what was the same in the photos and what’s changed,” Ms Angus said.
The kinder provides three and four-year-old groups and has places available for next year.
