Turn around young lives
HAND Brake Turn is holding a dinner to raise funds for new tools and equipment, heating for the workshops and updated training manuals.
The Concern Australia program gives disengaged youths a start in the automotive industry.
There’ll be door prizes, music from writer, singer and producer Ceeko, and a guest speaker.

Cemetery tour
EXPLORE Greater Dandenong’s history on a free Springvale Botanical Cemetery walking tour.
Historical and cultural heritage manager Celestina Sagazio will guide the 75-minute step back in time.

Motocross stars

DANDEE Donuts will be offering free samples of new flavours.
It’s trialling chocolate ganache, custard and Nutella and wants to know what diners think.

THERE’LL be a colouring-in station in Market Square with lots of pages to choose from – including the Dandy Pig – to inspire creativity.

Cook up a storm
THE Kitchen’s resident chef Russell Bald will share his secrets on healthy cooking and help kids create cupcakes in this school holiday activity.
All meals are made with products sourced from the market.

Sports stars
KIDS can learn sports skills free of charge at this school holiday program.

October exhibitions
ART on display at Heritage Hill will include digital prints based on geometric constructivism, and an exploration of the lotus flower and its symbolism of healing in oil paintings, acrylic and pastel on canvas, and prints on sari silk.
There’ll also be photographs from young women from the African Foundation.

African Food Tour
