THE Good Guys, Dandenong, will provide vital services for sick young patients through its eighth annual golf day.
Store owner Allen Garb said funds from this year’s event at Cranbourne Golf Club on 11 November would would go to purchase a CosyTherm neonatal warming system for the Special Care Nursery at Monash Children’s Hospital, Dandenong.
The sophisticated heating system maintains body temperature for babies who are at risk of developing hypothermia.
“The work Monash Children’s (hospital) does is terrific and I’m really grateful that both our team here and our suppliers participate in this day every year to raise funds for much needed equipment and, of course, care,” Mr Garb said.
More than 120 golfers will take part in the event, which will include a lunch, 18 holes of golf, a barbecue buffet dinner and a guest speaker.
