A MAN faced a murder charge in Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Friday morning over the shooting death of a man in Keysborough.
Omer Cicekdaj, 25, of Doncaster East, was charged with murder and was remanded in custody to reappear in court in October.
Homicide Squad detectives had been investigating the death of father-of-three Ali Duyar, who was found collapsed in Bloomfield Road with a gunshot wound to his upper body on the evening of 10 June.
He died later that night in The Alfred hospital.
