Truckie facing drugs charges

A ROUTINE traffic check has uncovered an alleged truck-driving drug dealer in Dandenong.
Heavy Vehicle Unit police pulled over a prime mover and trailer on Saturday 31 October.
The 26-year-old New South Wales man behind the wheel allegedly returned a positive result for amphetamine in a road-side drug test.
Dog Squad members helped with a vehicle search that uncovered a prohibited weapon, a radar detector, a GPS jammer and drugs believed to be amphetamine and ecstasy.
Police also charged the driver with having an unsecured load and log book offences.
