A motorcyclist on a mission wheeled into Dandenong.
Phill Bridges flew to Darwin from his homeland, Switzerland, and will return to the Northern Territory after travelling more than 22,000 kilometres across the country on his Harley.
He started the Link Up Australia journey in September in a bid to raise $150,000 for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia (PCFA), and stopped off at Melissa Bar Cafe at Dandenong Civic Centre on Wednesday 9 November.
PCFA is dedicated to reducing the impact of prostate cancer on Australian men, their partners and families by promoting research, increasing awareness, and supporting men and their families through groups and resources.
A strong crowd of fellow motorcycle enthusiasts, including Southern Riders members, turned out to meet Mr Bridges in Dandenong.
They bid on auction items to support his fund-raising efforts, including a Harley Davidson helmet.
