Police are searching for the men behind a bizarre burglary in Keysborough.
Greater Dandenong CIU Senior Constable Riley Wesley said four men entered an unlocked garage at a Kotiko Road home about 2.20am on Thursday 17 November.
The home’s occupants slept on inside.
The thieves stole nothing from the garage, Sen Const Wesley said, and moved on to an unlocked BMW sedan parked in the driveway.
From inside the BMW they stole keys to a Toyota Kluger wagon.
They immediately dumped the Kluger outside another Kotiko Road address, about 200 metres away.
Sen Const Wesley urged anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
