Cash for classroom makeover

Springvale Rise Primary will receive a $1.7 million boost.

Premier and Mulgrave MP Daniel Andrews announced the cash was in the 2018-’19 State Budget.

He said it would upgrade the school’s main administration and classroom building.

“Upgrading Springvale Rise Primary School will mean more local students can get a great education, close to home,” he said.

“Our teachers at Springvale Rise Primary School do an incredible job – now they’ll get the world-class buildings and classrooms to match.”

The Victorian School Building Authority will work with school staff to help them identify where to best direct the funding, including through Bricks and Mortar training course.
