Tyres slashed on 30 vehicles

Three males have slashed tyres on 30 vehicles during an early-morning spree of vandalism in Springvale.

The unknown offenders were captured on CCTV driving in a light-coloured SUV along Burden Street, Glendale Road and Avondale Street between 2.45am-3.25am on Saturday 1 December.

During the drive, they were seen either slashing or stabbing tyres on parked vehicles.

On many vehicles, more than one tyre was damaged – which caused significant inconvenience to the owners, Senior Constable Jordan McKenzie of Greater Dandenong CIU said.

Any information to Greater Dandenong CIU on 9767 7487 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or crimestoppersvic.com.au.
