A teenage pedestrian has been critically injured after being allegedly struck by a truck on Police Road, Mulgrave.
Paramedics and police were called to the scene about 3.15pm on Thursday 6 February.
The girl was taken to The Alfred hospital with head and chest injuries.
Police say the truck driver stopped at the scene and was assisting them with enquiries.
The investigation is ongoing, police say.
