Pedestrian dies in Dandenong

A pedestrian died on Friday morning after being hit by a car in central Dandenong. The 42-year-old Pakenham woman was struck by the car on Stud Road, near the intersection of King Street, about 8.50pm on Thursday. She was taken to Dandenong Hospital, where she died just after 2am. The driver, a 56-year-old woman, is assisting police with their enquiries.
