Stabbed woman's bank card used at ATM

Attacker ‘tried to use ATM’

Police believe a man who stabbed a 73-year-old woman in the neck during a violent home invasion in Endeavour Hills attempted to use a stolen card at an ATM machine half an hour later. Footage showed a man aged in his 30s or 40s wearing a high-visibility jacket attempting to use the stolen card on the corner of Lonsdale and Clow streets, Dandenong, about 4.05pm . The armed crime task force is investigating. A man entered the elderly woman’s house in Georgette Crescent, Endeavour Hills, on May 21 and stabbed her. The woman was taken with life-threatening injuries to Dandenong Hospital.
