A SOUTH Yarra man has been charged with conduct endangering life
after a police pursuit in Hallam.
Police patrolling a Hallam Road
industrial estate, following a series of burglaries at chemical
factories, approached a car in Melverton Drive about midnight on
Thursday, June 27.
Senior Sergeant Phil Byrne said the driver took off
towards Princes Highway and allegedly failed to stop at two red lights
so police called off the pursuit.
Police later identified the man and he
was charged with traffic and criminal offences.
