A CRANBOURNE man was behind the wheel of a car filled with drugs and stolen goods when police woke him in Dandenong this morning (Thursday).
They intercepted the idling car at the Stud Road and Judith Street intersection just before 3am, during a routine patrol.
After waking the driver the officers saw a glass crack-smoking pipe lodged in the air vent near the steering wheel and searched the car, finding a large amount of cash and drugs believed to be methamphetamine crystals, cannabis and anabolic steroids.
They also found deal bags, scales, individually wrapped smoking pipes and a digital camera and GPS equipment believed to be stolen.
Police arrested a 38-year-old Cranbourne man and are interviewing him.
