DANDENONG Thunder won its first game of the Football Federation Victoria (FFV) State League One season with a convincing 5-1 victory against Westgate at Ardeer Park on Saturday night.
The Thunder bounced back from a disappointing home loss against Coburg in round one to register its first three points of the season.
Veton Korcarevski was in sensational form for Dandenong, driving home two goals to set up the win. Festim Zekirija, Ryan Davidson and Jamie Paterson also found the back of the net for Dandenong.
The Thunder returns to George Andrews Reserve this Saturday night to take on the undefeated St Albans Saints.
Kick-off is at 7pm.
