TRAFFIC delays are expected to clear soon after boom gates between Dandenong and Cranbourne were closed for more than an hour this morning.
A VicRoads spokesman said there were significant traffic hold-ups on the South Gippsland Highway and around boom gates on Thompsons, Abbotts and Greens roads as a result of a signalling fault on the Cranbourne rail line from about 6.15am.
The fault was repaired about 7.45am.
“We expect traffic delays will ease over the next 15 minutes,” the spokesman said at about 8am.
