Car barbecued on Australia Day

A STOLEN car was dumped and incinerated near Bangholme Town Hall.
The white 1995 Holden Commodore Equipe had been stolen from Frankston in the early hours of Australia Day.
At 3.09am that day it was found alight on Worsley Road Bangholme, 200 metres south of the town hall.
It was not known how the suspicious fire was started, Detective Senior Constable Andrew Paternott of Greater Dandenong CIU said.
