A thief punched a Dandenong man and stole his mobile phone in Robinson Street.
The 37-year-old victim was walking, about 8.45pm on Tuesday 17 May, when a man approached him from behind and struck the back of his head.
The attacker continued to land blows after the victim fell to the ground before picking up his phone and running down Robinson Street to Rodd Street.
He’s described only as African in appearance.
