Bag-snatch and assault charges

Police arrested an alleged bag-snatcher over a Noble Park incident involving an elderly woman.
Greater Dandenong CIU detectives arrested the 25-year-old Noble Park man following an appeal to the public on Wednesday 29 November.
It’s alleged that a 72-year-old woman was walking on Frank Street with her husband just after 10am on Monday 27 October when a man pushed her to the ground and stole her bag.
The bag was later found in a nearby toilet block, but cash was allegedly missing.
Police charged the arrested man with robbery, intentionally causing injury and recklessly causing injury.
He was remanded to face Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 30 November.
