An energy audit could help a Dandenong South business to save $12,000 a year.
Bottle cap manufacturer Caps and Closures identified the potential savings through an energy assessment grant from the State Government’s Boosting Business Productivity Program.
Dandenong MP Gabrielle Williams said Caps and Closures was now working with an experienced energy consultant to further identify potential energy efficiency improvements, review pricing tariffs, and find suitable renewable energy options.
“Energy assessments are a great opportunity for a business to improve their productivity while also reducing operating costs,” she said.
Sustainability Victoria delivers the Boosting Business Productivity Program to support businesses with three different efficiency grants, a sustainable finance service, training events, and information resources.
The Energy Assessment Grants are open to businesses spending more than $20,000 a year on energy.
