Cars rammed outside police station

– Shaun Inguanzo
A SPRINGVALE South man will be charged with various offences following a collision outside Clayton Police Station on Tuesday.
The incident occurred about 9.40am when two cars parked outside the Clayton Road station owned by police officers were hit by another car.
Police said one of the cars was hit on its side, pushing it into the side of the second parked car.
Police said they believed the car then reversed and hit the parked cars for a second time.
The moving vehicle then caught fire but was quickly extinguished by police.
Police said a 24-year-old man was arrested at the scene and would be charged on summons with conduct endangering life, criminal damage, refusing a drug impairment test, refusing a breath test, driving in a manner dangerous and various other offences.
No-one was injured during the incident.
