Update on revitalisation

VICURBAN will provide an update to central Dandenong retailers about the city’s revitalisation project at the next Dandenong Retail Traders Association general meeting.
Martin Reich, a member of the VicUrban Revitalising Central Dandenong team, and in charge of asset and tenant management, will be the guest speaker at the Tuesday 7 October meeting at the Ramada Encore Hotel
DRTA chairman Roy Aspinall said Mr Reich would take retailers through a brief history and scope of the project.
“This will be a most informative meeting and I encourage retailers to attend this important meeting,” he said.
“All retailers are welcome, be they members or not, but we do hope that all retailers will eventually join.
“Attendance at the general meetings is a wonderful opportunity to network with fellow central Dandenong retailers.
“Tea and coffee is supplied and as well as our speakers there are normally Victoria Police members and representatives of the City of Greater Dandenong in attendance to provide information and for those present to discuss issues with.”
The Ramada Encore hotel is located at 50 McCrae Street, Dandenong, and the meeting will commence at 6pm.
