CHRISTMAS is a universal celebration for many, especially in Dandenong – the multicultural heart of Victoria.
This year celebrates the 23rd annual Christmas carols sung in the Dutch language in Dandenong.
Organiser Ria Driehuyzew, who has been a part of the carols since its birth, said this year is looking to be more exciting than ever.
“We started the choir in 1983 and ever since the number of people who come to the service has grown,” Ms Driehuyzew said.
“This year we have already sent out 340 invitations to people who have come before, and we invite many others to come and enjoy the wonderful night.”
The service, held at The Dandenong Reform Church on 20 December from 7pm onwards will include carols, poems, meditation and a Christmas story.
The church is located on the corner of Gladstone Road and Outlook Drive, Dandenong,
