Three injured in pub brawl

POLICE are investigating a brawl in Springvale South in which a man in his 40s was stabbed five times and two others were also injured.
Two men from Springvale South, aged 20 and 46, are helping the police.
The fight, on Saturday morning, broke out inside a Queens Avenue restaurant and karaoke bar just before 1am and continued outside. A man in his 40s, also from Springvale South, was stabbed inside the restaurant.
Paramedics treated him at the scene before he was taken to The Alfred hospital with life-threatening injuries. He is now in a stable condition.
A 25-year-old Noble Park man and a 46-year-old Springvale South man were also injured during the brawl.
Both were taken to the Monash Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Police arrested a 20-year-old at the scene. They are seeking witnesses to the brawl.
