SPRINGVALE Road’s level crossing will receive an upgrade under the Victorian Budget, released on Tuesday.
The Springvale level crossing has been highlighted as a high priority location with $16.5 million allocated towards metropolitan level crossings.
State member for south eastern metropolitan region Inga Peulich said the Coalition Government had delivered on an election promise.
“The Coalition Government has taken the first steps to solving one of Victoria’s most dangerous level crossings and we will work with the local Springvale community in fixing this crossing,” Ms Peulich said.
