Ramadan ends in festivities

THE EID-Elfitr Festival was celebrated by the Greater Dandenong community on Saturday 3 September.
The Ethnics Communities Council of the South East, along with the Committee for Eid Festival in the South East held the festivities to celebrate the end of Ramadan.
Sam Afra, Chairperson of the Ethnic Communities’ Council of Victoria said the weather was lovely and everybody had a wonderful time.
Festival-goers were treated to rides, entertainment, cultural shows, food stalls and a fireworks display.
