Karaoke time

The U3A Dandenong karaoke group’s end of semester concert is coming up.
The Kool Kat Karaoke Hit Parade will feature 34 songs from the ’60s, ’70s and ’80s, all performed live by group members.

The Little Mermaid

Disney’s musical tale of the Hans Christian Andersen classic will come to life on stage with the Windmill Theatre Company.

Power sailing

Children will learn to use woodworking tools to design and construct a fan-propelled boat with wood and a motor-driven propeller.
The program is designed for children aged seven to 11 years and an accompanying parent or carer.

Food swap

The Keysborough Res School Community Swap meets on the fourth Saturday of the month.
Members swap home-grown produce, jams, preserves, baked goodies, seedlings, seeds, cuttings, eggs, books, tools and more.

  • Keysborough Resurrection School’s productive gardens next to Keysborough Freedom Club. Enter via the driveway next to the retirement village at 414-418 Corrigan Road, Keysborough. 10am to 11am. BYO mug for a free cuppa.

 


Free Screening of Le Havre

This French language film will appear on the Harmony Square big screen to celebrate Refugee Week.
It follows Marcel Marx and his encounter with an underage illegal immigrant from Africa.

Multi Colour Cup

Soccer tournaments, art activities, food and more will form this Refugee Week celebration.
Players can register on the day.
Jebena Cafe and Connections Gallery have organised the event with help from ERMHA, Life Without Barriers, AMES and Drive Local. Volunteers are needed.
