Wanted woman netted in routine patrol

Police arrested a woman wanted on warrants during a routine patrol in Dandenong.
The Frontline Tactical Unit members saw a suspicious vehicle parked in Gwenda Street on Saturday 10 June.
They identified that the woman behind the wheel was wanted on an active warrant, and subsequently arrested her.
Police then searched the vehicle and allegedly located drugs.
They charged the woman, and she was remanded in custody to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court.
Police will continue to target patrols to areas and times that intelligence leads them to believe will be the most effective, but said public help was valuable.
