The Dandenong Thunder was unable to overcome a tenacious Green Gully Cavaliers, falling 2-0 and remaining seventh on the ladder.
After only trailing 1-0 at half time, the game was still in Dandenong’s reach but Green Gully kept its composure and ensured Dandenong was dealt a loss on its home turf.
Green Gully iced the win with another goal in the second half and put the result beyond a doubt.
Dandenong will look to get back on the winners’ table this week with another home game against the Southern Stars.
