A NOBLE Park man will be without his car for the next month after he was allegedly caught driving at more than double the speed limit in Heatherton on Sunday.
Moorabbin Highway Patrol members said they detected the 32-year-old’s 2013 Chrysler sedan travelling at 129 kilometres an hour in a 60 zone on Kingston Road about 11.40am.
Police intercepted and immediately impounded the vehicle for 30 days under hoon legislation.
The driver is expected to be charged on summons with various traffic offences, including driving at a dangerous speed.
