BUSINESSES can snap up space in Dandenong’s new civic precinct.
There are four retail tenancies and office spaces at 225 Lonsdale Street available for lease.
Two cafes have already signed up and negotiations are in progress with Bendigo Bank and a convenience store.
Greater Dandenong mayor Jim Memeti said Dandenong was a hive of activity and the new outdoor civic space on the corner of Lonsdale and Walker streets was proving a popular meeting place.
“People are immediately drawn to this area because of its expansive seating areas, not to mention the big screen,” he said.
“Council’s investment in this project complements significant public and private investment in the revitalisation of central Dandenong.”
