Police car slides into sign

A POLICE car slid on a fuel spill and hit a street sign while attending a car crash in the rain in Dandenong.
The first car, a black hatchback without number plates, hit a pole in Attenborough Street about 1.45pm on Wednesday 6 April.

Its driver and two passengers were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Police officers, who were called to the crash and drove over the diesel spill, were not injured, a police spokeswoman said.
She said the incident did not involve a police pursuit.

“The cause of the crash, where the (first) car has hit a pole is being investigated.”
