Burnt-out car dumped at school

A STOLEN car was torched in a high school car park in Dandenong North.
Greater Dandenong CIU Detective Senior Constable Bree Jarvis said thieves took the 2005 Holden Astra from outside a Clarinda home about 8.30pm on Monday 25 April.
The CFA extinguished the burning car in the Halton Road car park at Lyndale Secondary College about 12.50am on Tuesday 26 April.
Det Sen Const Jarvis said the car sustained “major damage” and would be forensically examined.
She urged anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
