A driver was trapped in their car after it crashed into a tree on Princes Highway, Noble Park.
An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said paramedics assessed one person at the scene, near Dunblane Road, and they were conscious and breathing.
A CFA spokesman said firefighters were called out at 2.03pm and declared the incident under control at 2.10pm.
He said a pumper and a rescue truck – with a specialist crew – from Dandenong attended.
