Young people show what they have to offer

Businesses can find out what young people have to offer at a National Youth Week breakfast.
Rebecca Scott will be the keynote speaker at the SEBN event on Thursday 6 April.
She’s the CEO and co-founder of STREAT, which runs cafes, an artisan bakery, a catering company and a coffee roastery.
Ms Scott worked in science communication at the CSIRO for a decade before branching out with STREAT.
STREAT has worked with more than 600 young people who have helped to serve nearly 2 million customers while gaining 55,000-plus hours of support and training.
Attendees can hear about what young people have to offer, and a case study on how one local employer has successfully engaged with young workers.
The breakfast will run from 7.15am for a 7.30am start to 9am at Highways, corner Princes Highway and Corrigan Road, Springvale. Tickets are $40 per person. Registrations close on Friday 31 March.
